I do not usually post on the iPhone as I personally do not own one, but I will not dismiss the fact that the iPhone is very popular. So when T-mobile announced that it was possible to get a Free iPhone 5, I was at least interested in finding out how. As it turns out, if you're currently a customer of a carrier other than T-mobile and you have an iPhone 5, you can exchange it for a cheaper (and newer) iPhone 5 with T-mobile.
The deal goes like this.
You trade in your current non-T-mobile iPhone (4, 4s or 5) and T-mobile will negate the down payment and knock off some of the monthly installment plan. So if you were paying, let's say $120/ month for unlimited Talk, Text, & Data on Sprint with the iPhone 5, could could get the same phone and plan with T-mobile for ($50+$20+13 = ) $83/ month. And if you decided to pay off the installment plan early, you're home free with no contract and a plan that costs $70/ month for unlimited everything.
